
Texas flood crisis: two dead as rescues surge across Kerrville-Uvalde region
Life-threatening flash floods swept southern Texas, killing at least two people and prompting hundreds of rescues across Kerrville, Uvalde and surrounding areas. More than 230 rescues have been performed, with 85 boats, 20 aircraft and 200 high‑profile vehicles deployed. A flood watch remains in effect as another round of storms threatens additional rainfall and officials urge continued vigilance in the hardest-hit communities.
