Weiser edges Bennet in Colorado's Democratic gubernatorial primary
TL;DR
Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser defeated U.S. Senator Michael Bennet in the Democratic gubernatorial primary, overturning early disadvantages in name ID and fundraising; Bennet conceded as Weiser led by about 10 points when the AP called the race, positioning Weiser to likely win the governor’s race in November in a state where Republicans haven’t won statewide since 2016.
