West Virginia Senate Race Gains Momentum with Endorsements and Launch Plans

West Virginia Governor Jim Justice, a coal mining magnate and ally of former President Trump, is planning to launch a campaign against Democratic Senator Joe Manchin next week. Justice, who has been heavily recruited by the National Republican Senatorial Committee, will make his announcement on Thursday at his luxury resort in White Sulphur Springs. He will first have to face GOP Rep. Alex Mooney in the primary, but Justice's personal wealth could give him an advantage. Manchin has not yet announced whether he will run for reelection.
