Wisconsin Senate Candidate Eric Hovde Delays Concession Amid Recount Speculation
TL;DR
Republican Senate candidate Eric Hovde is questioning the Wisconsin election results after losing to incumbent Sen. Tammy Baldwin, citing a late surge of absentee ballots favoring Baldwin. Hovde is considering a recount due to alleged discrepancies and concerns over voter registration and ballot integrity. However, some GOP members, including former lawmaker Joe Handrick, have dismissed Hovde's claims, attributing the loss to predicted outcomes rather than fraud. Hovde plans to decide on a recount after all ballots are counted, with a deadline for requesting a recount approaching.
