"House Republicans Uncover 'Drastic Failures' in Fauci's Testimony on COVID"
TL;DR
House Republicans claim that the first day of Anthony Fauci's interview revealed significant oversight failures in research funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, with Fauci admitting to signing off on research grants without personally reviewing proposals and being unable to describe oversight mechanisms for foreign laboratories receiving US funding. Democrats criticize the interview as a political stunt, while Republicans plan to continue questioning Fauci on pandemic policies and origins of COVID-19.
