"Pro-Palestine Demonstrations Disrupt Providence, Rhode Island"

Dozens of demonstrators gathered in downtown Providence for a "shut it down for Palestine" rally, joining worldwide protests in solidarity with Palestinians. The protesters marched to the Providence Place mall, where security blocked the main entrance, chanting slogans demanding freedom for Palestine. Providence Police and mall security were prepared for the rally, and the demonstrators eventually dispersed after marching back to the State House. Similar rallies have been held in Providence in recent weeks as the conflict in the Middle East continues.
