"California Hiker Rescued After 7 Hours Trapped Under Massive Boulder"

A hiker in California was trapped under a 5-ton boulder for seven hours until a volunteer search team successfully freed him in a daring rescue. The team used ropes, pulleys, and leverage to shift the boulder and stabilize the hiker's crushed leg until a Navy medic arrived via helicopter. The medic rappelled down to the injured hiker and both were hoisted up into the aircraft. The hiker was then flown to a hospital for treatment.
