Oregon Coast Guard Rescues Missing Mushroom Picker After Two-Day Search
TL;DR
A 64-year-old woman was rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard and local search teams after being missing for nearly two days in Oregon's Shore Acres State Park. She was found suffering from hypothermia and dehydration after her calls for help were heard by search crews. The rescue was complicated by challenging weather and the woman's sheltering under a log, which made her undetectable by thermal imaging. She was airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
