Kenny Parcell, the president of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), has resigned following allegations of sexual harassment from current and former employees. The New York Times published accounts of forced physical contact, lewd photos, and texts by Parcell, with 29 people interviewed for the article. The NAR, based in Chicago, has been criticized for its predominantly male leadership despite a mostly female membership. Parcell denied the allegations and claimed to be a victim of character assassination. Tracy Kasper will assume the role of president immediately, instead of in 2024 as planned.
