Realtors' Group President Resigns Amid Sexual Harassment Allegations
Kenny Parcell, the president of the National Association of Realtors (N.A.R.), has resigned following allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct. Multiple women accused Parcell of exhibiting a pattern of inappropriate behavior, including improper touching and sending lewd photos and texts. The N.A.R., the largest professional organization in the country with 1.5 million members, confirmed Parcell's resignation and stated that Tracy Kasper, the president-elect, will assume the presidency immediately. The organization has faced criticism for not adequately addressing a culture of misconduct, and calls for change within the industry continue.
