Boston Pride Parade Returns with Boston Bruins Star Charlie McAvoy Marching.
TL;DR
Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy marched in the city's Pride parade for the first time with his fiancée and their dog. More than 10,000 people representing over 200 groups marched in the city's first Pride parade since 2019. The 2020 and 2021 Pride Parade and Festivals were canceled due to COVID-19 concerns, and there was no parade held in 2022 due to the absence of an organized group to manage the events. Boston Pride For the People (BP4TP) organized this year's parade and festival.
