Tragic Motorcycle Crash Claims North Carolina Woman's Life at Barber Motorsports Park

A 56-year-old woman from North Carolina, Silke Maria Crombie, has died after sustaining injuries in a motorcycle crash during a side-car race at Barber Motorsports Park. Crombie was taken to UAB Hospital where she was pronounced dead more than a week later. Details about the crash have not been released. Crombie is one of two fatalities that occurred during separate crashes at the park that weekend.
