Natick couple wins multi-million settlement over eBay harassment saga

Natick couple Ina and David Steiner reached a final settlement with eBay, its former CEO Devin Wenig, and two other former leaders for about $56 million (final figure $55.7 million) after years of a harassment campaign by eBay employees that included threats, bizarre deliveries, and stalking. The breakdown: roughly $46.15 million from eBay, $2 million from Wenig, $50,000 from Wymer, $500,000 from Jones, plus $6 million donated to charities and a $1 million donation by Wenig to a First Amendment rights charity. Several implicated employees pleaded guilty, and eBay acknowledged the misconduct in a public statement.
