San Francisco Faces Multiple Shootings, Including Alleged Targeted Attack in Mission District.

Cruise, the driverless vehicle unit of General Motors, has responded to reports that one of its robotaxis blocked emergency responders during a mass shooting incident in San Francisco. The company clarified that while the vehicle initially stopped, it performed a U-turn and pulled over, allowing emergency response vehicles to proceed around it. Cruise CEO Kyle Vogt also highlighted that at no point did the robotaxi block access to first responders. Tesla CEO Elon Musk appeared to express concern about the incident on social media.
