Fatal Consequences: Speed, Alcohol, and Road Rage in El Paso

A crash in El Paso involving three vehicles resulted in the death of Joseph Isaac Ayala. The preliminary investigation revealed that Ayala, who was driving a Chevrolet Astro van, struck a Honda Accord from behind, causing the van to spin and face the wrong way. A Nissan Titan then collided head-on with the Astro van. All three drivers were hospitalized, but Ayala succumbed to his injuries. Police determined that speed and alcohol were the main contributing factors to the fatality.
