Toddler dies in hot car after parents' lunch outing in Florida.

A 2-year-old girl died in Orange City, Florida, after being left in a hot car for hours. The family had gone out for lunch and returned home with the young girl and her two older brothers. The parents found her unresponsive in the car around 5 p.m. and drove her to a local hospital where she died shortly before 6 p.m. This is the second time recently that a local child has died after being left in a hot car for hours. The circumstances of the child’s death are under investigation.
