Tragic Loss: Off-duty Chicago Firefighter Drowns at 31st Street Beach

An off-duty Chicago firefighter tragically died while swimming with his family at 31st Street Beach in Lake Michigan. The 43-year-old was pulled underwater and despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the hospital. The Fire Department is conducting a full investigation into the incident.
