Tragic Outcome: Man's Attempt to Hide from Police Ends in Freezer Fatality

A Minnesota man, Brandon Lee Buschman, who was trying to hide from the police, was found dead in a chest freezer in the basement of a home. The freezer had a latching mechanism on the outside and was not capable of being opened from the inside. Buschman had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and apparently entered the freezer on his own accord. Investigators believe he may have tried to escape but was unable to do so. The cause of death is still under investigation.
