Canadian wildfire smoke causes air quality concerns and travel disruptions in the US.

Wildfire smoke from Canada has caused flight delays and cancellations across the US, with at least 330 flights delayed and eight cancelled as of Thursday morning. The Federal Aviation Administration has delayed all flights bound for Newark Liberty International Airport and certain flights bound for New York's LaGuardia Airport. The agency warned that delays were also possible at airports in Charlotte, Dallas, Philadelphia and at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport due to reduced visibility from wildfire smoke. The air quality in many major cities along the East Coast was hazardous.
