The Washington State Department of Transportation has issued a warning about upcoming road closures in Leavenworth, where the 'Village of Lights' festivities are taking place. To manage the expected heavy traffic, some turns on US 2 will be restricted on December 9 and 16, and a few local roads will be closed. Travelers are also advised to be prepared for winter driving conditions and longer travel times due to significant snowfall expected in the Cascades and lowlands.
