Connecticut Son Fatally Bludgeons Father with Baseball Bat, Bodycam Captures Shooting

A 38-year-old man, Robert Jenkins III, is seen on police bodycam violently bludgeoning his 69-year-old father, Robert Jenkins Jr., with a baseball bat on the front lawn of their Meriden home in broad daylight. After Jenkins III refuses to drop the bat, Officer Anthony Offiaeli fires multiple rounds, killing him; the elder Jenkins dies from blunt-force head injuries. Both deaths are ruled homicides.
