Graphic photos shown as D4vd murder case advances toward trial

Graphic crime-scene photos were shown at a Los Angeles preliminary hearing for David Anthony Burke (D4vd), who is charged with murdering and sexually abusing 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Prosecutors allege Burke stabbed Celeste, dismembered her with a chainsaw, and hid the remains after ordering body bags, a chainsaw, an inflatable pool and a shovel online. The hearing is to determine whether there is enough evidence to move toward a trial; Celeste’s parents watched in horror but stayed to support their daughter.
