Life sentence for woman linked to weeks-long torture and murder of transgender man in upstate NY

Precious Arzuaga, 40, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and related charges in the weeks-long torture and killing of Sam Nordquist, a Black transgender man, at Patty’s Lodge in Hopewell, New York. Prosecutors say she and six others kidnapped and tortured Nordquist for weeks before his death, and she was sentenced to life in prison on Tuesday.
