Officer Charged in Fatal Wrong-Door Shooting of College Athlete

A Pennsylvania officer, Corporal Sean Farrell of the Upper Pottsgrove Township Police Department, was charged with voluntary manslaughter for the Aug. 23 killing of Glenwood Pysher IV, a 22-year-old Saint Elizabeth University baseball player, who had knocked on the wrong door after a night out. Body-camera footage shows Farrell approaching the unarmed student with a drawn gun as he stood on a patio near the back door after a homeowner reported a burglary in progress, and prosecutors say Farrell fired. Farrell faces up to 20 years in prison.
