NTSB cites speeding in deadly I-95 work-zone bus crash in Virginia
The NTSB says a charter bus traveling at a high rate of speed failed to slow for a work zone on southbound I-95 in Stafford County, Virginia, causing a fatal chain-reaction crash that killed five and injured 44 among about 34 occupants. The bus, operated by E&P Travel from New York City to Charlotte, was driven by Jing S. Dong, who faces two counts of voluntary manslaughter. A preliminary report is expected within 30 days as investigators continue the inquiry.
