Asheville Man Surprised by Bear in Backyard Encounter
TL;DR
A North Carolina man had a face-to-face encounter with a black bear outside his home. David Oppenheimer was alerted by his doorbell camera system and saw the bear a few feet away from him. The bear appeared puzzled and ran away after a few seconds. Black bears are commonly seen in the community, and people aren't really fazed by them.
