Search intensifies for North Carolina physical therapist missing in Grenada

Elizabeth “Liz” Waddell, a 44-year-old physical therapist from North Carolina, vanished July 22 after last being seen at Grand Anse Beach in Grenada. An extensive search involving police, divers, and St. George’s University students is underway, with her husband appealing for information and Grenada issuing a missing-person alert on July 23. The U.S. State Department said it’s aware of the missing American and can assist families with local procedures.
