The Truth Behind Prince Harry and Meghan's Paparazzi Chase Drama
TL;DR
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were pursued by paparazzi in New York after leaving a charity event, with their official spokesperson describing the chase as "near catastrophic." The couple were followed by photographers in half a dozen vehicles with blacked-out windows, on scooters and bikes, with several close calls but no accidents. The Duke of Sussex has been a vocal critic of press intrusion into his family's lives, and lost his mother Princess Diana after a high-speed pursuit in Paris in 1997.
