Tibet rights activist dies after self-immolation outside UN in NYC

A 52-year-old Tibetan campaigner named Lobga Rangzen died after setting himself on fire outside the United Nations headquarters in New York while holding a Tibetan flag. He was taken to hospital where he died; authorities are investigating. The UN secretary-general expressed condolences.
