TL;DR

WorldPride 2025 in Washington D.C. marked its first celebration in the city with a parade, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of Pride events in D.C. Despite a large turnout, the event faced challenges due to political tensions, reduced corporate sponsorship, and controversy over the fencing of Dupont Circle Park, which was eventually removed after public backlash.
