Six Tie Breakers Shape 2026 NBA Draft Order Ahead of Lottery

Six ties among teams with identical regular-season records were broken today by random drawings to determine part of the 2026 NBA Draft order. The Jazz beat the Kings, Pelicans beat the Mavericks, Suns beat the Magic and 76ers (with Philadelphia and Orlando placing second and third), Raptors beat the Hawks, Rockets beat the Cavaliers, and Knicks beat the Lakers. The NBA also announced the 2026 Draft Lottery will be held May 10 (ABC), with the first round on June 23 and the second on June 24, and published the full first-round order and lottery odds.
