Hart's relentless energy fuels Knicks in Finals Game 1 beyond scoring
TL;DR
Josh Hart delivered a quintessential “glue guy” performance in the 2026 Finals opener, scoring just 3 points on 1-for-5 shooting but ripping down 15 rebounds, handing out six assists and snagging four steals in 26:47 as New York grabbed a 1-0 lead. He defended multiple Spurs, pushed tempo, and even pulled Wembanyama away from the rim to disrupt San Antonio’s defense, underscoring his value beyond scoring as the Knicks chase a championship.
