Cleetus McFarland lands ARCA pole at Michigan, sets up bold oval debut

Cleetus McFarland earned pole for the ARCA Menards Series Henry Ford Health 200 at Michigan International Speedway, clocking 38.987 seconds to edge Jake Bollman by 0.025 seconds in the No. 30 Rette Jones Racing car—his first pole on a non-superspeedway oval. He led a few opening laps but finished 14th after a late caution caused damage. Fellow content creator George Siciliano starts 27th. Cleetus is also racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series weekend with a bald eagle-themed Silverado and will give the starting command from the truck; the ARCA race was set to green Friday at 5 p.m. EST on FOX Sports 2.
