A’s Call Up Bolte, Stefanic as Wilson Lands on IL
TL;DR
The Oakland Athletics announced a raft of roster moves: Henry Bolte and Michael Stefanic were added to the active roster, Jacob Wilson was placed on the 10‑day injured list with a left shoulder subluxation, Brett Harris was optioned to Triple-A, Eduarniel Núñez was designated for assignment, and catcher Austin Wynns was released after clearing waivers. Bolte, the minors’ standout hitter, figures to get significant playing time in center with Denzel Clarke sidelined, while Stefanic will debut for Oakland after a strong Triple-A showing. Núñez has struggled with velocity and command this season, and the A’s will try to pass him through waivers or trade him, with five days to decide his fate.
