Braves Promote Jim Jarvis, Designate Jose Azocar for Assignment
TL;DR
The Atlanta Braves selected infielder Jim Jarvis to the majors for his first call-up and designated outfielder Jose Azocar for assignment. Jarvis has delivered strong trends in the minors, including a .308/.415/.445 start at Gwinnett with 15 steals in 153 PAs, and could add infield depth as Ha-Seong Kim returns; Azocar, who has limited minor league options, is likely to clear waivers or be traded in the coming days.
