TL;DR

Former Iowa State recruit Blake Hinson, who left the program before playing a game under T.J. Otzelberger, has been an offensive asset for Pitt this season, averaging 15.5 points per game and recently being named to the All-ACC second-team. Hinson made it clear he doesn't want to talk about his time or exit from Iowa State, but Otzelberger and Pitt coach Jeff Capel both praised Hinson's success and the transfer portal as a win-win situation. Iowa State faces Pitt in the NCAA Tournament on Friday.
