Ex-NFL Player Chad Wheeler Sentenced to 81 Months in Prison for Domestic Violence Attack

Former NFL player Chad Wheeler has been sentenced to nearly seven years in prison and 36 months of probation after being found guilty of domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend, Alleah Taylor. Wheeler choked Taylor unconscious during a January 2021 incident, resulting in her sustaining serious injuries. He was convicted on counts of first- and second-degree domestic violence assault and must also pay restitution and have no contact with Taylor.
