A convicted sex offender, Samuel Arthur Thompson, has been sentenced to 220 years in federal prison for producing child sexual abuse material and hacking the jumbotron at the Jacksonville Jaguars' stadium after the team learned of his status and fired him. Thompson, who was convicted of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy in 1998, had been hired by the Jaguars as a contractor and installed remote access software on a server in the team's server room, causing the video boards to malfunction during games. Upon investigation, the FBI found thousands of images and hundreds of videos of child sexual abuse on Thompson's devices, leading to his conviction and sentencing.
