"NFL Veteran Arrested in Charlotte for Vehicle Theft and Drug Possession"

Former NFL player Bashaud Breeland, a cornerback who played eight seasons in the league, has been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, altering serial numbers, possession of drugs, and possession of a stolen firearm. He was found in possession of a stolen Mercedes-Benz SUV, multiple guns, including two AR-15s and two AK-47s, over five pounds of marijuana, suspected mushrooms, and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop in Charlotte. Breeland was released on a $30,000 bond and remains a free agent in the NFL.
