Texas High School Basketball Player Attacks Coach for Benching Him

A high school basketball player in Texas and his brother were arrested for assaulting the player's head coach after he was benched during a game. The coach had benched the player due to his behavior towards an opposing team player, which angered the player and his family. A verbal confrontation ensued in the school's parking lot, leading to the player punching the coach in the face and his brother joining in the assault. The coach suffered injuries to his head, neck, face, and arms. The player and his brother were arrested for assault on a public servant and later released on bond.
