Portnoy Slams Brady’s Post‑NFL Persona as a Cringey Departure from Icon Status
TL;DR
Barstool founder Dave Portnoy criticized Tom Brady’s post‑NFL public image as cringey and beneath his iconic status, citing Brady’s Fanatics Fest appearance and a staged confrontation with Logan Paul as examples of influencer-style moments that Portnoy says are eroding Brady’s legacy. Portnoy and his co‑host Brandon Walker argued Brady is chasing attention and should distance himself from such theatrics and from Michael Rubin to avoid “lame‑ifying” his legacy.
