TL;DR

Despite his impressive record in major championships, Brooks Koepka may need to do even better to qualify for the US Ryder Cup team without a captain's pick due to his low ranking on the OWGR and limited opportunities to gain points. Additionally, there is controversy over whether LIV players should be eligible for the team, with former PGA of America chairman Ted Bishop tweeting that they should not be. If Koepka is left out, Jordan Spieth, Sam Burns, or Justin Thomas could be next in line.
