"Chiefs Fans Face Amputation After Frigid Playoff Game"

Multiple fans who attended the bitter cold Kansas City Chiefs playoff game in January are now facing potential amputations due to frostbite injuries sustained during the game, which was one of the coldest in NFL history. The medical director at the Grossman Burn Center at Research Medical Center revealed that approximately 70% of patients referred for frostbite injuries from the game are now being advised to schedule amputations, while the remaining 30% will still face lifelong sensitivity and pain as well as increased susceptibility to frostbite in the future.
