The Hawkeye Marching Band wore a hot‑weather uniform and had hydration breaks, and UI says it modified rehearsals and provides care through Sports Medicine, but has not disclosed whether Wet Bulb monitoring was used or whether a formal review is underway. Phillips died on Tuesday after being taken off life support.
