Mercer Island student dies after lacrosse-ball injury at recruiting showcase

A Mercer Island High School sophomore, Eliot Abramson, died from injuries after a lacrosse ball struck the back of his neck during a recruiting showcase at Islander Stadium; a firefighter kept him conscious until he could be rushed to Harborview Medical Center.
