O.J. Simpson trial witness Mark Fuhrman dies in Idaho

Former LAPD detective Mark Fuhrman, whose O.J. Simpson murder-trial testimony was undermined after a recording revealed racist slurs, died May 12 in Idaho. He had pleaded no contest to perjury in 1996, retired after Simpson's acquittal, and later became a TV/radio commentator and author.
