TL;DR
The San Francisco 49ers are showing strong interest in signing free-agent linebacker De’Vondre Campbell after a deal with Eric Kendricks fell through, with Campbell being released by the Green Bay Packers to save on their salary cap. Campbell, an eight-year NFL veteran, had a standout 2021 season and could bolster the 49ers' linebacker corps, potentially filling in for the injured Dre Greenlaw alongside Fred Warner.
