Dodgers face backlash for disinviting LGBTQ+ groups from Pride Night.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have disinvited the LGBTQIA+ group, Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, from their annual Pride Night after opposition from conservative Catholic groups. The group was set to receive the team's Community Hero Award but was removed from the honorees list due to strong feelings of people who were offended by their inclusion. The group's mission statement says the nonprofit is devoted "to community service, ministry and outreach to those on the edges, and to promoting human rights, respect for diversity and spiritual enlightenment."
