Huskers Slam Four Homers to Clinch Series Against UCLA

The No. 9 Nebraska softball team beat No. 7 UCLA 8-4 at Bowlin Stadium, fueled by four home runs (three in the second inning) to clinch the series. Hannah Camenzind drove in three with a three-run homer, while Alexis Jensen and Ava Kuszak also homer in the big second inning; Jordy Frahm added a homer and went 2-for-4. Jensen (13-2) earned the win over six innings, Frahm closed out the final frame, and Brynne Nally (2-1) took the loss for UCLA. Nebraska improves to 26-6, 8-1 Big Ten, while UCLA falls to 29-5, 10-2 Big Ten. This marked Nebraska’s first top-10 series win since 2013, and they’ll host Creighton on Tuesday.
