Post-draft deadline rosters are largely set, and CJ Moore unveils a slightly-early 2026-27 preseason Top 25 that places Illinois No. 1 over Florida. The choice hinges on Illinois’ continuity and upgraded bench (Vaaks, Ivisic, Coleman) versus Florida’s need to replace Xaivian Lee with four returning starters. The piece also notes strong early positioning for Gonzaga, Purdue, Indiana, Iowa State, Vanderbilt, and Texas A&M, all reshaped by transfers and freshmen as rosters come into focus.
